Fabrikanterne
Vejle Municipality’s development and innovation hub for retail entrepreneurs, centrally located in Vejle’s pedestrian shopping area. It is a shared workshop community of local designers and makers creating home, lifestyle, and design products, all sold through a collective store.
Emerging designers are offered a base in a unique open workshop, where business development through networking, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the use of each other’s skills is a key focus. Visitors and customers have the opportunity to see the workshops in action and engage in dialogue with the practicing designers and makers.
The 500 m² space also includes meeting and exhibition facilities as well as workshop areas, where design, materials, upcycling, play, and learning are central elements.
The entrepreneurial environment has room for approximately 12–15 businesses. We are co-located with the independent retail store Fabrikanterne, which brings together more than 80 designers in a single shared shop.
